planting, cultivation, fermenting and packing of the Rooibos Tea,
through display stands against the background of the Rooibos Tea
Plantation. Besides the information given, visitors will also get to
use the info-terminals giving data on Rooibos worldwide, recipes,
webpages and company profiles.
Visiting Dr. Nortier's Rooibos Museum does not give you

information on Rooibos Tea only. You
will be surprised to see our Cape Malay Mini Museum. Originated from
Indonesian Archipelago, East Indies and some from Malay Archipelago.
Most of the Cape Malay were brought to South Africa in the early
17th century by the Dutch East India Company as slaves and political
exiles. For over 340 years, their lifestyles has become a unique
blend of East and West. |

In this Cape Malay Mini Museum, visitors are able to see artifacts
such as long aqiqah knife, wooden keparang, musical instruments and
traditional costumes. Together with short description, visitors will
for sure get more knowledge on the Cape Malay.

Towards the bistro visitors will see varieties of South Africa's
traditional accessories and handicrafts by the local tribes.
The last part of the museum is the beautiful bistro where visitors
can experience personally Dr. Nortier's Rooibos Tea and Pagoda
Flower Honey. |
